Project: Replace subsiding BLock Paving with New Tarmac Driveway.
We are Tarmac Contractors based in the Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders area. We carry all kinds of groundworks and tarmac work for our clients, including replacing old paving with New Tarmac Driveways. This client had an existing block paving driveway that had subsided. The client wanted it replaced with new tarmac driveway with improved drainage.
As you can see from the pictures there was a lot of blocks to lift! After removing all of the block paving we created new levels, installed drainage channels, laid a type-1 hardcore sub-surface before laying the new tarmac top surface.
